about 20|20 fission
20|20 fission was started by us, Mike Chan
and George Talusan, to meet the growing need for affordable
high quality professional photography. Through 20|20 fission we hope our passion
for photography will benefit you and others.
We use high resolution professional-grade Canon DSLR cameras
and "L"-series lenses for maximum image quality.
Portable studio lights and backdrops are also available. Prints
are done on high speed dye sublimation printers and come out
instantly dry with a water-resistant protective coating. The
quality of print is identical to those done at any photo lab.
The only difference is we're faster.
20|20 fission is a friendly and easy going group that strives
to provide you, your organization, and event patrons with
top quality products and results. We're based in Toronto and
serve the Southern Ontario area.

Mike holds a degree in Computer Science and a diploma in
Graphic Design. He is a successful freelance graphic
designer.
He has always been drawn toward the visual arts. Photography
entered Mike's life as a teenager and what started off as
his hobby eventually grew into his livelihood.
He enjoys exploring the many different genres of photography
such as fast action sports, candid street photography and
studio portraiture. Mike finds each a challenge and updates
his skills by attending professional photography seminars
and courses.
George holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science
from the University of Waterloo. He is employed as a web developer
at one of Canada's leading software companies.
He has been around photography all of his life because his
father is a successful wedding photographer. Growing up, George
learned how to carry around heavy tripod bags, stuffed many
proof albums after school, and could change 120/220 format
film backs with his eyes closed.
George explores the limits of photography and experiments
with long exposures, expired film and old cameras. Similar
to Mike, he also enjoys shooting sports and portraits, and
will bring his camera anywhere he goes.
